Uniplus is part of the Leibniz School of Education. The proximity to the university ensures a close connection between research and school practice. Findings from the areas of diversity & inclusion, language support for refugees and classroom management flow directly into the training offer.
Since teacher professional development was transferred to the universities in 2012, uniplus has been organizing training courses for around 17,000 teachers in the Hannover, Nienburg and Schaumburg regions. Thanks to the decentralised organisation of teacher training, professional development courses focus particularly on regional needs.
