Key competences / professionalisation area in the school focus

The examination regulations for the Interdisciplinary Bachelor's degree and the Bachelor's degree in Technical Education specify in the professionalisation area and in the area of key competences which courses must be completed in these areas.

This is a compulsory course in area A and a further in-depth compulsory elective course in area B of the Interdisciplinary Bachelor and area C of the Bachelor Technical Education.

These areas must be chosen by all students who wish to become teachers.

Detailed information on the professionalisation area / key competences can be found in the examination regulations of the respective degree programme.

Opportunities for key competencies

In field A, this is the course "Digital Learning Landscape: Inclusive Education", which is offered in the summer semester.

In area B of the Interdisciplinary Bachelor's or C of the Bachelor's Technical Education, relevant topics related to later teaching work or the area of school are studied in depth. Here you can choose between different offers of the Leibniz School of Education, the ZQS/key competences and the subjects.

All selectable courses are shown in the course catalogue of the Leibniz School of Education.

Notice

If you have chosen a ZQS/Key Competences seminar, the following applies:

  1. You will receive a certificate of attendance for the seminar attended from ZQS/Klüsselkompetenzen.
  2. You also print out the seminar description for the course attended (this can be done via StudIP or the course catalogue). It is important that the information on the event number, title and allocation to the respective area of the key competences of the degree programme is visible.
  3. You send both documents to the Academic Examinations Office at the following address for the booking of credit points: TeamLehramt@zuv.uni-hannover.de

RECOGNITIONS IN THE AREA OF KEY COMPETENCES

If you have already acquired key competences before starting your studies, for example through previous studies or training, these can be credited if necessary. To do this, you must submit an application for recognition.

At the Leibniz School, only areas A and B are credited in the professionalisation area of the interdisciplinary Bachelor's degree. For area C, you must contact the internship officers of the subjects.

Important: If you take the school-based path, the compulsory courses according to the examination regulations must be studied.
